The USA company Cambridge Glass was founded in 1873, in the town of Cambridge, Ohio. However the factory was not built until the company was bought by the National Glass Company in 1899. Glassware production began in 1902, with Arthur J. Bennett as manager. In 1907, Bennett raised the funds to purchase the company himself. In 1939 he sold the business to his son in law Wilber L. Orme. The factory closed in 1954.
